Team news

Tottenham recently announced their squad for their pre-season trip, with 31 players set to travel to Japan and South Korea.

The notable exclusions from the squad are Bryan Gil and Sergio Reguilon, who were both granted permission not to travel as they look to secure moves away from North London.

Tottenham’s South American stars Rodrigo Bentancur, Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero will also miss the tour due to their participation in the Copa America. The same goes for Dutch defender Micky van de Ven, who is still enjoying a break following Holland’s Euro 2024 campaign.

Radu Dragusin meanwhile returns from his break midway through the tour and will link back up with the squad in South Korea.

New signings Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall are unsurprisingly on the plane to Asia following their impressive displays against Hearts and QPR.

Fellow youngsters Will Lankshear, Mikey Moore and Jamie Donley have also been included in the squad and will all be looking to catch the eye of Ange Postecoglou ahead of the coming season.
