Ivan Toney to Tottenham transfer suggestion
Football presenter Jeff Stelling has suggested that Tottenham could land one striker option that resembles the quality of Harry Kane.
Spurs let their all-time leading goal scorer leave last summer, which has resulted in plenty of changes in the centre-forward department.
Despite Ange Postecoglou making use of Heung-Min Son and Richarlison, rumours continue to swirl over the Lilywhites signing a striker in the summer transfer window.
It has led to discussions surrounding whether Tottenham should make a move for Brentford and England striker Ivan Toney in the weeks ahead.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Stelling said: “Toney is pretty much the finished article, but I think the obvious choice for Ivan Toney is Tottenham.
“I think if they want somebody who is the nearest thing you can get to a Harry Kane, who can influence the game in all areas of the pitch, who scores goals as well, come deep, he can lead the line brilliantly.”

Tottenham injury boost for Arsenal clash
Heading into a tough North London Derby clash with Arsenal, Tottenham have received a huge boost to their squad on the injury front.
Key duo Pedro Porro and Richarlison have been suffering with fitness concerns that have kept them out of training in recent weeks.
However, according to club insider Paul O Keefe, the pair have returned to training and could be in contention to face the Gunners.
It comes as a major boost to Spurs, following the news that Destiny Udogie is set to miss the rest of the season through injury.

James Maddison record at risk
Tottenham star James Maddison has six-games to protect a nine-year record of scoring from a direct free-kick in a season.
The Spurs playmaker impressed in the opening stages of the campaign, but a mixture of injury troubles and inconsistent performances have impacted his form as of late.
Maddison will be hoping to be back amongst the goals soon and there would be no better stage to do that than in the North London Derby against Arsenal.
Should he fail to score from a direct free-kick against the Gunners, then he will have to do so against one of Chelsea, Liverpool, Burnley, Manchester City or Sheffield United to preserve his impressive streak that dates back to the 2014/15 season.
