Tottenham Hotspur get their Europa League campaign under way on Thursday night with a home game against Qarabag FK.
Ange Postecoglou’s charges appear to have turned a corner over the past week, coming from behind to beat both Coventry City and Brentford.
Having steadied the ship, Spurs will now look to get their European journey off to the best possible start in the meeting against the champions of Azerbaijan.
At the same time, Postecoglou will surely have an eye on Sunday’s difficult Premier League fixture away at Manchester United.
With that in mind, Tottenham are likely to make a number of changes for the Qarabag game.
However, a report from GiveMeSport has claimed that one of Spurs’ big-money players will not be taken out of the starting XI.

Dominic Solanke set to start for Tottenham against Qarabag
GiveMeSport have reported that Dominic Solanke will remain in Tottenham’s starting line-up against Qarabag.
Postecoglou is reportedly ‘desperate’ to give the summer signing a significant confidence boost in his early days at N17.
The encounter has been earmarked as an ideal opportunity for Solanke to build confidence and improve his goal tally for the season, added the report.

Solanke on the right track at Tottenham
As is often the case with big-money signings, Solanke has been scrutinised the minute he arrived at Spurs following his £65million switch from Bournemouth.
Solanke hasn’t yet put a foot wrong at Tottenham, certainly not as much as some pundits seem to be suggesting.
His debut was a case of finding his feet, then he suffered an injury, then he returned to action against Arsenal and did well, and eventually he got his debut goal against Brentford.
In some games, Solanke was starved of service. Admittedly, he wasn’t great against Coventry, but he wasn’t the only Spurs player to struggle on that night.
Nonetheless, it looks as though the £90,000-a-week ace will have a chance to impress from the off against Qarabag. Hopefully the “wonderful” forward – in Jurgen Klopp’s words – will do well.
