James Maddison has been a revelation for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
That was, until November when Spurs took on Chelsea and James Maddison was forced off after just 45 minutes in a depleting 4-1 loss.
Before this, Maddison was arguably the best player in the Premier League. The Leicester midfielder was an inspired pickup from Ange Postecoglou, who has done wonders for the Tottenham Hotspur squad.
His return is eagerly awaited at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – and it’s looking imminent.

Tottenham Hotspur post three-word message on James Maddison
Amid feeling that Maddison may be fit to face Manchester City, Tottenham have just posted something that has got fans massively excited.
They took to X today to share a three-word message on the England international – which simply read:
“Look who’s back.”
Maddison is back in amongst it with his teammates at Hotspur Way. This got Spurs fans a little bit excited for Friday’s clash.

‘EVERYONE STOP WHAT THEY’RE DOING,’ a first writes. ‘Things you love to see!’ another says.
Numerous ‘WE ARE WINNING IT ALL’ and ‘WE ARE SO BACK’ were quoted alongside these.
It seems fitting that Maddison is returning for the City clash. One fan in particular has set up a scenario that will have Spurs fans licking their lips at the prospect.
‘It’s all built up for him to score the winner late on against City in front of the South Stand.’ Imagine. Absolute scenes if so!
If Tottenham want any chance of a trophy this season, they’re simply going to have to beat the treble winners. It’s going to be no easy feat, but entirely possible – especially with Maddison back in the frame.
