Tottenham transfer claim

Tottenham are looking to make two “important” additions to their squad over the summer transfer window. That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that both a winger and a midfielder is on the cards.

Speaking on The Debrief, Romano said: “It will take time before Tottenham decide who is the player they really want but for sure they will add a winger to the squad in the summer and these two players are appreciated since a long time.

“I see Tottenham doing something important in that position in the summer transfer window and in the midfield too.”

It comes as Tottenham continue to be linked with Barcelona winger Raphinha and Wolves star Pedro Neto for the coming months.

Pedro Neto stance

Wolves boss Gary O’Neil has claimed that he won’t discuss a possible exit for winger Pedro Neto ahead of the summer transfer window. It comes as the Portuguese international continues to be linked with a potential move to Tottenham.

O’Neil said, via the Standard: “I have been asked a few times about the summer already. I am not interested in discussing Pedro Neto leaving the football club. He is a fantastic player that we spent a lot of money on and have worked very hard on.

“As far as I am concerned we do not want to lose our best players. We have a long way to go yet this season and hopefully he stays with us.”

It remains to be seen whether Spurs or any other club could change that stance when the window opens though.
