Roy Keane praise
Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has been full of praise for Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr following his display against Aston Villa. The youngster was a standout as Spurs dismantled their top four rivals 4-0 at Villa Park.
“Sarr makes a good run and we’re thinking, ‘now can he deliver?'” Keane said when analysing the first goal on Sky Sports. “And he certainly can, one of the balls of the season. You cannot defend that. Maddison gets on the end of it – brilliant first goal.”

Tottenham contract update
Tottenham youngster Callum Olusesi is set to sign a professional contract with the club until 2026. That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Spurs have fended off interest from other teams in Europe to keep the 16-year-old midfielder.
The Lilywhites have pushed hard in recent years to ensure their academy is able to compete with the best at the top level. With some promising youngsters making their way through, Olusesi could be the next to have a big career.

Ange Postecoglou record
Ange Postecoglou has become the first Tottenham manager to beat an Unai Emery team in the Premier League. It comes following Spurs beating Aston Villa in a huge clash in the context of the race for the top four.
Goals from James Maddison, Brennan Johnson, Heung-Min Son and Timo Werner completed a rout at Villa Park, to move them within two points of their rivals with a game in hand. It marks a first defeat to Tottenham for Emery, who had been undefeated with Villa and Arsenal.
