Tottenham Hotspur are currently a work in progress, showing they’re capable of hammering anyone on their day but lacking consistency.
For instance, Spurs have recorded emphatic wins over the likes of Manchester United, West Ham and Aston Villa.
However, Tottenham also delivered dismal displays against the likes of Brighton and Crystal Palace.
Nonetheless, it’s clear to see what Ange Postecoglou is trying to do, and patience is needed for him to work his magic at N17.
One recent success story at Tottenham has come in the shape of one particular player developing from a somewhat modest player into one of the team’s stars.
Said player has now been named in ESPN’s XI of Premier League players that have gone under the radar.

Dejan Kulusevski named in ESPN’s Premier League under-the-radar XI
The player in question is Dejan Kulusevski, who has been a revelation since swapping position this season.
Previously a winger, Kulusevski is now featuring in midfield, and making a much greater impact than before.
This has seen the Tottenham man named in ESPN’s XI alongside the likes of Lucas Hernandez and Moises Caicedo.
‘The ripples of appreciation for Kulusevski are getting larger, but the sheer weight of the role he carries out still flies under the radar,’ they wrote.
‘Now relocated into central midfield from the wing, he offers power and strength, defensive work rate, brilliant ball carrying, an eye for a pass, and a legitimate goal threat. Very few can match this array of skills.
‘No one at Spurs has created more shooting opportunities (51) or tallied more progressive carries (40).
‘His performance in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford in September was one of the finest individual showings we’ve seen this season.’

Ange Postecoglou says there is ‘more to come’ from Kulusevski
Kulusevski recently pointed to a growth in his maturity as one of the main aspects to flourishing in a central role this season, as per the Spurs website.
Postecoglou, speaking ahead of the Carabao Cup win over Manchester City, was asked how much growth he had seen in the Sweden international’s leadership qualities.
“I think Deki is growing but I think that’s kind of where we are as a group,” the Tottenham boss told football.london. “A lot of them are growing and growing through experiences.
“Deki has been fantastic for us this year in both his output and his attitude and mentality. I think there is more to come.”
