Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up for the start of their Premier League campaign, which gets under way at Leicester City on Monday night.
Spurs have had a decent summer for the most part, making numerous exciting signings and offloading many players surplus to requirements.
Admittedly, there’s still work to do on the pitch, with Tottenham having suffered back-to-back defeats to Bayern Munich.
However, there was certainly one positive from the pre-season friendlies, namely that Spurs have some great youngsters in their ranks.
Michael Dawson has now backed one of Tottenham’s young stars to make an immediate impact over the coming months.

Michael Dawson backs Tottenham prodigy Mikey Moore to make immediate impact
Mikey Moore has been one of Tottenham’s standout youngsters in pre-season, featuring prominently in the friendlies and making a real impact.
Now, Dawson has told the Daily Mail that he “certainly” thinks the 17-year-old will begin making a name for himself in the senior team right away.
‘Well, I certainly think Mikey Moore will,” said the Spurs cult hero.
“I think sometimes these opportunities, you’re waiting for them and Mikey certainly got that – getting a few goals in pre-season.
“I mean, we saw him at the back end of the season last year, being involved training with the team.
“And I think this year, with European football, you’re going to have those opportunities because you can’t have the intensity that we have in the Premier League, and then have European football and trying to be successful.”

Which games Moore could play in this season
At just 17 years of age, Moore has outgrown the Under-18s setup already, with 16 goals and nine assists from just 14 U18 outings last term.
Normally, such a player would go into the Under-21s, but Moore has been so impressive that he is now set to skip this step and go straight into the first-team.
Moore has already featured competitively for Tottenham’s senior team, getting minutes in Spurs’ last two games of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
He is now likely to be eased into regular senior first-team action, with minutes off the bench and perhaps starting in the cups.
It’ll be exciting to see how Moore fares over the coming season and beyond, as it looks like he’ll go very far in his career.
