Tottenham Hotspur now have four new signings over the line this summer, with the latest arriving completely under the radar.
Spurs signed Archie Gray from Leeds United early on in the transfer window before securing the services of Yang Min-hyuk from FC Gangwon.
Tottenham then brought Dominic Solanke to N17 from Bournemouth, and now they’ve completed the signing of Wilson Odobert from Burnley.
In addition, Timo Werner has re-signed on loan from RB Leipzig and Lucas Bergvall has arrived at N17 from Djurgarden after a deal was agreed earlier this year.
Normally, speculation around a potential new signing will begin weeks – or days at best – before a deal is secured, so fans will know a lot of the finer details.
However, in the case of Odobert’s signing, it went from speculation to completed signing within an hour.
As a result, most Tottenham fans have only just begun looking into what the 19-year-old is like as a player.
Some have taken to social media to ask Burnley supporters what they can expect from Odobert.

How much did Tottenham pay for Odobert?
According to the Evening Standard, Tottenham have paid £25million up front for Odobert, plus a further £5million in potential add-ons.
He has penned a five-year contract at Spurs, which is set to run until the summer of 2029.
The Standard have also reported that Odobert is expected to be in the first-team picture this season, though not as a starter initially.
