Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is expecting more to come from Timo Werner in a Spurs shirt.
The German winger got on the scoresheet for the first time as a Spurs player last weekend against Crystal Palace.
With the absence of Richarlison through injury, it has opened up a big opportunity for Timo Werner to solidify his spot in the starting XI.

How many goals Timo Werner has scored
Since landing in north London during the January transfer window, Werner has only been able to find the back of the net once.
However, he has also been able to provide two assists in his six appearances in the Premier League.
It has been a solid start for the German at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but it is apparent Ange Postecoglou is hoping for more to come.
Speaking on Friday from Hotspur Way ahead of the game against Aston Villa on Sunday, he said: “I think he’s been really important. If we hadn’t brought him in there would have been far more of a burden on the other players, especially with Sonny away. We threw him straight in. He’s made an impact but I think he can get even better.”

Heung-min Son comments on Werner
The Australian manager is not the only Spurs figure who has spoken out about the German’s performances so far.
Werner had a golden opportunity to open the scoring on Saturday against Palace, but he fluffed his lines and was unable to finish the one-on-one.
It was a real opportunity for Spurs to potentially kickstart what could’ve been an emphatic win.
Instead, Spurs were forced to really work for the three points with Werner eventually getting among the goals.
Similarly to Postecoglou, the club captain also said there is more to come from the German who enjoyed his 28th birthday earlier in the week.
‘As I said before, Timo shouldn’t never celebrate that goal, because the fans and the players are expecting more from him,’ said Son.
Reports have now questioned whether Spurs will make Werner’s stay in north London permanent this summer.
With this in mind, some important months lie ahead of the £15m Werner and he must seize the opportunity whilst he is getting the nod in the starting XI.
