Tottenham Hotspur could already have their first summer signing lined up with the addition of a ‘fantstic’ winger.
There has been a lot to provide fans optimism since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou last summer, and the transfer windows have been a big plus.
Looking ahead to the next transfer window, it appears Timo Werner could become the first permanent signing following his January loan.

Tottenham expected to sign Werner in summer
January saw new faces come through the doors at Hotspur Way and one of them was Werner.
The German forward landed on a short-term loan deal from RB Leipzig following his failed spell in the Premier League with Chelsea.
Werner put pen to paper on an initial loan deal, but we have the option to make his stay permanent in the summer for a fee believed to be around £15m.
And now transfer expert Paul O’Keefe has suggested on X that he is expected to be made a permanent Tottenham player in the coming months: “Probably. Very cheap considering,” he said when asked on Spurs taking up the Werner option.

Werner providing Tottenham depth
Following the return of Heung-min Son from the Asian Cup last week, Werner was able to maintain his spot in the starting XI for the game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
However, he did make way in the second half with Postecoglou’s substitutions proving influential to the side earning all three points.
Since landing back in London, the 27-year-old has been able to provide a return of two assists across his four Premier League appearances.
Although that is not a shabby return, it is not exactly that of someone who could replace the 31-year-old Son in the future.
Werner has been hailed as ‘incredible‘ in the past by his former manager Jesse Marsch and he could certainly provide strong competition in the squad.
At £15m, it does feel like we would be getting a lot of experience added to the squad and he could be a real option for Postecoglou if we are to juggle European football next term.
