Former Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli is officially a free agent and on the lookout for a fresh challenge this summer.
Dele remains a firm fan favourite at Tottenham after seven brilliant years at the club where he emerged as a Premier League star at the old White Hart Lane.
The 28-year-old completed a switch to Everton back in January 2021 but has left Goodison Park on a free transfer after recent struggles with injuries.
Of course, Dele has also overcome significant personal issues, which he opened up about in an interview with Gary Neville back in July last year.
The midfielder seems to be gearing up for a return to first-team action as he’s been spotted training during pre-season. And interestingly, Dele has been training alongside a current Tottenham player.

Dele spotted training alongside Tottenham player
With Dele eyeing up a return to football after not featuring for the Toffees last season, the Englishman has been doing some extra work ahead of pre-season.
In a post on fitness trainer Connor Peters’ Instagram, Dele can be spotted being put through his paces alongside youngster Dane Scarlett.
Scarlett himself has returned to pre-season training with Ange Postecoglou’s side after seeing his loan at Ipswich Town cut short last term.
The striker, lauded as a ‘brilliant’ talent by former Portsmouth boss John Mousinho, will be hoping to impress Postecoglou ahead of the new season and it would appear he is putting in extra work behind the scenes.

Dele could be set for Premier League return
After undergoing surgery on a hamstring issue earlier this year, Dele seems intent on being in the best shape possible ahead of the new campaign.
The former Spurs star has already admitted his desire to force his way back into the England set-up and remain in the Premier League.
‘You know you can set reminders on your phone, I have a reminder at 11 o’clock every day that says, “World Cup 2026”. That’s my aim for now. I think that people will be like, “he hasn’t played in a year” but I don’t care, I know my level,’ he said back in April.
‘The only target I have is the World Cup right now. Obviously I’m injured and contracted to Everton and so my mind is just about taking it day by day and making sure my injury is healed and that I’m in the best possible condition after the summer.
‘It’s annoying because I’ll be just fully training as the season ends so it means that I won’t have to rush it.”
“I’m signed to Everton so I think it’d be disrespectful to say anything else while I’m here,” Dele added.
“They’ve been so amazing with me and I don’t know if it’s off the cards being there next season so I won’t talk about any of that because they’ve been amazing and I don’t know the details of the situation but I want to stay in the Premier League and be at the highest level and playing against the best players.”
