Tottenham’s pre-season preparations are underway and a number of youngsters are looking to impress.
Twelve months following his appointment, the Ange Postecoglou revolution is now well underway at Tottenham Hotspur.
A fifth-place finish in his first season charge, the Aussie now has his sights set on moving up the table.
Pre-season will likely be a vital time for the Spurs boss, as he assembles his squad ahead of a busy campaign.
Tottenham’s pre-season campaign kicks off on July 17, with a trip to Scotland to face off against Hearts. The Lilywhites then play QPR before embarking on their Asian Tour – which will see them play against Vissel Kobe and the K-League all-stars.
So, with that being said, The Spurs News thought it would be worthwhile taking a look at some of the Spurs youngsters who could impress this pre-season.
Will Lankshear

Tottenham currently have an array of attacking talent within their youth ranks, with Will Lankshear potentially being the best of the bunch.
Scoring 23 goals in 28 PL2 appearances last season, Lankshear recently bagged himself a new five-year deal at the club.
He is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Lilywhites but Tottenham’s current lack of recognised number nine’s may present an opportunity for the 19-year-old this pre-season.
There is also said to be loan interest in the youngster, with Teesside Live reporting that Championship side Middlesbrough are keen on loaning the forward.
Tyrese Hall

Tyrese Hall’s name hit mainstream media back in May when it was announced he would be included in the matchday squad for Tottenham’s clash with Manchester City – what people may not know however, is that call-up was a long time coming for the youngster.
A regular for Tottenham’s Under 18’s before moving up to the Under 21’s, Hall’s dazzling displays within the Spurs youth ranks have caught the attention of Tottenham fans.
Able to play either central midfielder or attacking midfield, Hall’s ball-carrying and ability to win the ball back has reportedly caught the eye of Spurs boss Postecoglou – according to Football.London.
At just 18-years-old, this upcoming pre-season will be a great opportunity for Hall to showcase his redoubtable talent and potentially land himself a first-team spot come August.
Mikey Moore

Arguably the most exciting youngster within the Spurs ranks, Mikey Moore’s goal and skills compilations have become a regular occurrence on social media in recent times.
Fresh from starring at the Under-17 Euros, Moore’s four goals at the tournament caught the attention of many clubs, with the likes of Borussia Dortmund registering an interest – according to Football.London.
Tottenham however remain keen on keeping their teenage sensation and are looking to hand out minutes to the youngster this pre-season, with Football.London stating Postecoglou has taken ‘a real liking’ to the forward.
So, the 16-year-old could see pre-season as the perfect opportunity to integrate himself into the first team ahead of a busy schedule this upcoming season.
Jamie Donley

The excitement and hype surrounding Jamie Donley has been growing for some time now.
Making his senior debut back in December 2023 during Tottenham’s 3-3 draw with Manchester City, Donley has since been a regular fixture in the Spurs matchday squad.
Able to play either as a striker or an attacking midfielder, many Tottenham fans have been crying out for the 19-year-old to receive more minutes.
Pre-season may present the attacker with the perfect opportunity to impress Ange Postecoglou or even bag himself a loan move away from the club, with the likes of Oxford City reportedly keen on loaning the youngster – according to GiveMeSport.
George Abbott

The Euros and Copa America have presented Under-21s captain George Abbott, with the perfect opportunity to shine this pre-season.
A midfielder by trade, Abbott can also slot in at centre-back – which could present Ange Postecologu with the perfect solution.
With the likes of Radu Dragusin, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero all tied up on international duty this summer, it means Spurs may be without a first-team centre half this pre-season.
This could enable Abbott to show his talents in defence and potentially bag himself a first-team spot ahead of the season.
