Tottenham Hotspur loanee Eric Dier has admitted he does not understand the frustrations of the fans towards Daniel Levy.
The Englishman has followed Harry Kane in making the move over to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
But Eric Dier’s recent comments are unlikely to go down well with the fans he’s left behind in north London.

Eric Dier lauds Daniel Levy
It has been an exciting season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Ange Postecoglou bringing about an exciting brand of football.
The Australian’s appointment should be something which Daniel Levy should be proud of after a dismal few years under the watch of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
However, his decision to hike the price of season tickets up by six per cent this week has not done his reputation among Spurs fans any favours.
Although his interview with The Times may have been conducted prior to the announcement, Dier has questioned the frustration shown from Spurs fans towards Levy.
He said: “I just find it funny when I went to the Tottenham stadium and see ‘Levy Out’ and I’m thinking, this guy over the last ten years has built the best infrastructure in football, best training ground, best stadium — and a team during all of that time that has stayed relatively competitive, reaching the Champions League final in 2019…”
“You never hear Tottenham in any of these FFP conversations. It’s baffling to me that a Tottenham fan could ever be upset with someone who looks after a club in that way”

Tottenham season ticket price rise
Earlier in the week, Spurs made the announcement that saw a huge backlash from the match-going fans on social media.
There are a lot of things which may go unappreciated as a result of acts such as the rise in season ticket prices.
Dier is completely right in the sense that Tottenham are unlikely to ever be one of the sides finding themselves in trouble with FFP under Levy.
There will obviously be some fans who will feel this is because Tottenham do not spend in the same way other sides do.
However, Spurs are a well oiled machine when it comes the business side of the club.
This is why it is so frustrating when rising costs have been put on the bills of the season ticket holders given the club do not find themselves in financial struggles.
Regardless, Dier is not a face Spurs fans will see back in north London with Bayern triggering his buy clause in his loan deal.
And it seems he is enjoying his time in Munich having become the only Bundesliga player to play 500+ minutes without being dribbled past.
