After Andy Robertson, Tottenham want to sign another Liverpool player if they stay up

Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Andy Robertson, it would seem, and perhaps they’re not done with their raid on Liverpool.

Liverpool have tailed off this season after romping to the Premier League title during 2024/25, and in contrast, Tottenham’s season so far has been nothing short of shambolic.

Spurs are 18th in the Premier League and after failing to win any of their top-flight games in 2026, relegation has become a real possibility.

Tottenham’s push to sign Robertson suggests the club remain confident of survival, however, and it would appear that they’re not finished when it comes to signing Liverpool players.

Tottenham want Curtis Jones

It’s certainly not the first time that Liverpool midfielder Jones has been linked with Tottenham, and the Daily Mail believes that the North Londoners remain keen.

Tottenham will go in search of new midfielders in the summer, with Joao Palhinha set to leave Spurs, and Jones remains a top target for the club.

Jones has come through the ranks at Anfield, but since becoming a regular with the first-team squad, he’s never really been able to stamp his authority as a regular in the starting eleven.

Now, the time could come for the homegrown Anfield favourite to move on, and a host of Premier League clubs will likely be interested if that time does come.

Jones has made 222 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 21 goals and claiming 24 assists, but a desire to play regularly could make a move to Tottenham extremely appealing.

Tottenham will need to avoid relegation first before any transfer rumours can come to fruition, but if it’s Premier League football for Spurs next season, Jones could prove a very useful signing.
