Tottenham Hotspur have been defeated in the Premier League by Ipswich Town.
It was a nightmare start for Ange Postecoglou’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Two first-half goals meant Spurs trailed 2-0 to Kieran Mckenna’s side, in what looked to be a seriously embarrassing defeat.
Rodrigo Bentancur pulled one back on the 70-minute mark, but it wasn’t enough – with Ipswich managing to hold on despite a barrage of late Spurs attacks.
Some Tottenham players had bad games vs Ipswich, but one more so than most in Radu Dragusin. The Romanian centre-back was particularly poor, leading to supporters uproar.

Tottenham fans really don’t rate Radu Dragusin
Taking to X during the fixture, Spurs supporters expressed their annoyance with not just Dragusin’s performance against the Tractor Boys, but with him as a whole. It really hasn’t worked out so far.
One wrote: ‘Dragusin doesn’t play out from the back well and lacks pace. Don’t try to convince me Ange signed this signing off.’
Another puts: ‘I’m not even joking when I say I’d rather have Sanchez back than Dragusin. At least Sanchez is suited to the system.’
Another writes: ‘Dragusin for spurs might be the worst centre half I’ve ever seen. Blokes in a world of his own.’
‘We’re going to have a conversation about Radu Dragusin one day’, says another disgruntled Spurs fan.
‘Think Bayern still want Dragusin?’ asks another, with a final putting, ‘Dragusin just isn’t very good is he.’
Fans have made their mind up already on Dragusin, they don’t think he’s good enough to wear the Tottenham shirt.
Is Radu Dragusin’s Tottenham future in doubt?
With Dragusin also poor against Galatasaray, it’s becoming increasingly harder to keep the faith that the 22-year-old will come good.
Despite this, Spurs have no interested in selling Dragusin. This is even with chatter from Dragusin’s agent, that suggests a bigger move could be on the cards.
With stats like these, he’ll certainly need to improve no matter the outcome if he wants to better his career.
