Tottenham Hotspur beat League One side Doncaster Rovers 3-0 on Wednesday.
Their win has seen them qualify for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, another trophy they will be hoping to win after their Europa League success last term.
Spurs had to defeat Doncaster without one of their best midfielders, Pape Matar Sarr.
Following the full-time whistle, Thomas Frank explained why the 23-year-old was missing from the matchday squad.

Thomas Frank taking no risks with Pape Matar Sarr
Sarr has impressed during this early part of the season, scoring in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over West Ham United earlier this month.
However, the Senegal international has a small thigh problem right now and Frank did not want to risk him against Doncaster.
In his post-match press conference, which has been relayed by football.london, Frank said: “A minor precaution. A little stretch to the thigh so we didn’t want to take any risk today.”
While Sarr was unavailable for the clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, another top midfielder was available: Joao Palhinha.
Frank, though, decided to start him in defence. Plenty of Tottenham fans were surprised by Frank’s decision, but Palhinha still ended up having a good game, even managing to score an overhead kick.

Thomas Frank gives debut to Luca Williams-Barnett
Luca Williams-Barnett was another player who was able to get onto the pitch, with Frank handing the 16-year-old his debut.
Discussing Williams-Barnett’s first senior appearance for Tottenham, Frank said: “Very happy with that. Always a pleasure to be part of a young player’s debut so happy with that.”
Sarr would have perhaps been disappointed to miss out on the cup tie, but it has been a good day for Williams-Barnett, Tottenham and the club’s supporters.
Not only did Spurs fans get to watch their side make it to the next round of the Carabao Cup, but they also received a major update about Harry Kane’s future. Earlier, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano did not rule out the possibility of Tottenham re-signing their former captain.
A lot needs to happen before Kane rejoins Spurs and reunites with Sarr and the others. But fans will now be dreaming about a homecoming.
