Tottenham Hotspur produced one of the best performances of the Ange Postecoglou era by beating Manchester United 3-0 on Sunday.
Old Trafford hasn’t exactly been a happy hunting ground for Tottenham Hotspur over the years.
Yet on Sunday afternoon, Spurs made Manchester United look like visitors in their own back yard.
Ange Postecoglou watched on as Tottenham cut through United at will in a 3-0 victory which, in all truth, could and should have been much heavier.
Brennan Johnson opened the scoring as he converted from Micky van de Ven’s ridiculous run through the United side.
The ‘unreal’ Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke added goals in the second half, handing Tottenham a sensational win on the road.

Pedro Porro message to Dominic Solanke
Tottenham were superb against United but certainly could have had more than three goals.
One big chance materialised late on as Pedro Porro pinged a stunning volleyed pass right into Solanke’s path.
Solanke went through on goal but he fired straight at Andre Onana rather than finding the back of the net.
That would have given Solanke a fourth goal in three games but it just wasn’t to be for Tottenham’s big summer signing.
Porro has now taken to social media to send a message to Solanke after that missed opportunity.
The Spaniard stated that he forgives Solanke for not finding the target – but joked that it’s only because he found the net earlier in the game.
Porro missed out on an incredible assist but is clearly pleased to see Solanke finding the net once again.

Solanke will have plenty of chances to score
Solanke racked up 19 Premier League goals last season as he thrived in front of goal for Bournemouth.
Tottenham paid up to £65million for Solanke and many believed that he would receive even more chances to score at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The first thought was that creative stars such as James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski could provide from midfield whilst Son Heung-min and Brennan Johnson could fizz balls across from wide areas.
Many forgot that Tottenham have quality attacking full backs too and the likes of Porro and Destiny Udogie will provide scoring opportunities too.
Solanke missed Sunday’s opportunity from Porro’s raking pass but he can be sure that similar chances will come over the course of the season.
