Pedro Porro paid tribute to Tottenham Hotspur’s captain Heung-min Son during Spurs’ 3-0 win over Manchester United.
The South Korean missed the trip to Old Trafford having suffered a hamstring injury in the Europa League victory against Qarabag. Ange Postecoglou has provided an update on Sonny’s injury.
Spurs were superb in the Manchester rain as they ran riot with goals from Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke wrapping up the three points.
Micky van de Ven stole the headlines with an outrageous assist as the Dutch defender intercepted a pass on the halfway line and drove through the United team to flash a ball across the box for Johnson to tap home.

Pedro Porro’s Heung-min Son tribute
Following Solanke’s goal against Manchester United, Porro imitated Son’s signature celebration as a tribute to the injured winger.
Soloanke netted Tottenham’s third goal of the game and in the celebrations, the 23-year-old was spotted doing Son’s signature pose.
Despite the emphatic win, Sonny’s importance to the team was still missed, as Timo Werner spurned multiple opportunities to put Spurs out of sight.
The 32-year-old hasn’t been in the best form so far this season, but he would have had a field day against Erik ten Hag’s side who looked all over the place.
Son showed his appreciation for Porro’s celebration by re-posting the Spaniard’s Instagram on his story with the caption: “This is my guy”.

Porro’s excellent display vs Manchester United
Meanwhile, Porro himself was the unsung hero against United, producing an excellent performance during the win showing a real improvement to the defensive side of his game.
Questions have been asked about his ability to defend, however, he had Manchester United’s left-hand side on lock all game, with Marcus Rashford quiet all game.
His display didn’t standout in terms of goals or assists but his all-round work for the team is what earned him the praise of the Tottenham fans.
