Spurs returned to winning ways in the Premier League in a 3-1 victory over Brentford, with Brennan Johnson getting on the scoresheet.
It has been a tough start for Tottenham so far this campaign. Going into the Bees match, the club had only won one of its first four Premier League games. This included a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.
However, Spurs have now started to return to form. A victory against Coventry in the Carabao Cup has been quickly followed up with a result against their London rivals, with Dominic Solanke, Johnson and James Maddison all getting on the scoresheet.
The Welsh forward in particular will be happy to get a goal, with his celebration aimed at his recent critics.
Spurs fans pleased to Brennan Jonhson return to form

Since Johnson’s big-money move to Spurs last season, he has perhaps not hit the heights expected of him.
However, since he took this step after the North London derby, the forward has been on fire. Johnson netted past Coventry in the cup before he found his goalscoring touch against Brentford on Saturday.
Upon scoring his second goal in two games, Johnson then proceeded to put his index finger to his mouth, resembling a ‘shush’.
As a result, Spurs fans took to social media to react to the celebration, with many now pleased he is returning to form.
Spurs fans were also seen singing Johnson’s name after his goal which further pleased many fans on social media.
Brennan Johnson is proving why Spurs splashed the cash on the forward
With Spurs in bad form, it is easy for players to hide on the pitch, especially when they are facing constant criticism from their own fans.
However, not only did Johnson not hide away, he stepped up to the challenge and has been instrumental in Spurs achieving back-to-back victories.
These performances are exactly why Tottenham spent £47.5 million on the former Nottingham Forest player.
Hopefully, Johnson can now build on this past week and help pull Spurs back into the top-four mix.
