Richarlison has just made his transfer plans very clear to Ange Postecoglou amid rumours that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to replace him.
Tottenham have been linked with Jonathan David as they seek a more reliable backup option for Dominic Solanke. Spurs have been unable to rely on Richarlison who is currently out with a hamstring injury with the 27-year-old having already missed 15 matches this campaign.
The North London club’s squad has been significantly impacted by injuries this season and they cannot afford to keep players around who are unable to stay fit.

Richarlison rules out Tottenham departure
Richarlison has ruled out the possibility of leaving Tottenham in the near future, according to South American journalist Eduardo Burgos. Several Saudi clubs have again asked about bringing him to the Middle East, however, he has made his position very clear over a move there; it will not happen.
The forward remains intent on attempting to stay fit and fighting for his place in Postecoglou’s team. His goal is to play for Brazil at the 2026 World Cup and playing in Saudi would make that tricky.
He is currently due to back from his latest hamstring injury in the New Year and by the time he returns the Lilywhites may have already moved in the transfer market to sign another attacker.
Tottenham must replace Richarlison
Richarlison has missed a total of 24 matches throughout 2024 due to various different injuries. He has also been sidelined on five different occasions showing just how unreliable he has been.
In terms of his actual contribution to the team, the Brazilian showed how good he can be last season when he went on a run in the Premier League of scoring nine goals in eight matches but suffered a knee injury just shortly after.
However, he’s just never shown enough to justify keeping him around as an alternative to Solanke and Tottenham must look to force him out the door.
