Tottenham Hotspur were keen to land a deal for defender Victor Nelsson before they signed Radu Dragusin.
However, Daniel Levy was unable to pull off the deal which then saw Spurs later sign the Romanian centre-back from Genoa.
It has been a busy two windows since Ange Postecoglou’s appointment, but it seems not all of their targets have been landed.

Tottenham interest in Victor Nelsson
According to reports out of Turkey, the north London club were seriously interested in the 25-year-old Danish defender.
It is claimed Galatasaray were looking for €25m (£21m) for their centre-back, a bid which never landed.
Although Spurs have seen a number of their players depart for Galatasaray, Daniel Levy was unable to break their stubbornness over the asking price.
With West Ham also reportedly interested in Nelsson, the report says the player was begrudgingly forced the remain in Turkey.

Radu Dragusin Tottenham appearances
After missing out on the Dane, Spurs then bought Radu Dragusin from the Italian top flight.
It is a move which saw the Lilywhites beat the likes of Bayern Munich and Napoli to the signing of the 22-year-old.
But it has been a move which will certainly test the patience of the Romanian as he awaits his first start under Postecoglou.
Having signed in the January window, Dragusin has only featured for a grand total of eight minutes.
He featured as a cameo substitute in three consecutive Premier League games against Manchester United, Brentford and Everton.
However, he has not made an appearance in the previous three games from the bench.
He is still just 22 and it is apparent his camp are calling for patience over his development at Hotspur Way.
But when you see the game time Eric Dier is getting at Bayern Munich, you have to wonder whether he is feeling some regret over his decision in January.
