Tottenham might not be safe from relegation yet, but plans are being made for new recruits, it would seem.
Roberto De Zerbi has got his feet under the table nicely and has managed to secure back-to-back victories against Wolves and Aston Villa.
Could Tottenham have done any worse by utilising Luka Vuskovic this season?
That has lifted Spurs out of the relegation zone, with West Ham dropping in ahead of their game with Arsenal on Sunday evening.
Plans look to be in place for the off-season, and it would appear as though De Zerbi is keen to link up with one of his former defenders at Tottenham.

Tottenham want Jan Paul van Hecke
According to Team Talk, it’s believed that Spurs are going to enter the race to sign Brighton defender Van Hecke in the summer.
Chelsea and Liverpool have both been credited with previous interest but linking back up with De Zerbi at Tottenham could be something that appeals to the defender.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form over the last two seasons for Brighton, but he could be on the move during the summer window.
Van Hecke was signed by Brighton from NAC Breda in the summer of 2019, and following loans with Heerenveen and Blackburn, the defender was ready for Premier League action.
The uncompromising defender has made 128 appearances for Brighton and when it comes to measuring up with the existing squad, there is an intriguing comparison.
Van Hecke and Micky van de Ven might be teammates at the World Cup this summer but the Brighton man is better versed in the air.
WhoScored shows that Van Hecke wins on average 3.2 headers per game, with Van de Ven winning less than two.
Tottenham will have to survive relegation first this season, but adding a plug-and-play Premier League player like Van Hecke could be the perfect summer addition for a fragile Tottenham.
