Tottenham Hotspur are now showing an interest in an Everton player who the Toffees rate at around £60m.
The summer transfer window is expected to see Tottenham make some additions to their squad ahead of a 2024/25 campaign in Europe.
Under Ange Postecoglou, the Lilywhites have shown some vast improvements on last season and the signings made since his appointment have played their part.
Despite Daniel Levy sanctioning the sale of Harry Kane last summer Spurs have fared well with the additions of players like Micky van de Ven and James Maddison.
Another player who has impressed in Richarlison who Spurs bought for £60m from Everton two years ago.
The Brazilian has shown drastically improved form and he has earned the praise of vice-captain Cristian Romero.
And now it looks like Spurs could replicate that deal as they are showing interest in another player from Goodison Park.

Tottenham now looking to replicate Richarlison and Brennan Johnson deals
Not only did Spurs help relieve some of Everton’s financial concerns by signing Richarlison, but they also helped out Nottingham Forest.
Spurs signed Brennan Johnson in the summer for £47.5m which Forest held out for after receiving lower offers earlier in the window.

Ultimately, both sides still fell short of the financial regulations and have since faced points deductions.
However, Everton continue to worry about their finances and could look to potentially offload a player like Amadou Onana.
According to club insider Paul O Keefe, Spurs are now showing an interest in the Belgian midfielder who the Toffees also value at £60m.
The Spurs News understand that Tottenham will be looking to add a midfielder to their squad this summer.
This comes with the expectation for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to depart the club over the coming months having already reportedly been offered to other clubs.
Interesting stats shows how Amadou Onana may not be an upgrade on Yves Bissouma
One thing which has become pretty apparent over recent weeks is that Tottenham could do with a new number six to protect their defence.
Currently, Yves Bissouma is playing that role, but the Mali midfielder is struggling currently and was even dragged off at half time on the weekend.
However, there are some key stats from this season which show the “unique” Onana may not be the upgrade some may think he could be.
| (Per game) | Yves Bissouma | Amadou Onana |
| Pass accuracy | 92.1% | 84.2% |
| Tackles | 3.54 | 2.9 |
| Blocks | 1.33 | 1 |
| Interceptions | 1.64 | 0.75 |
| Shot creating actions | 1.89 | 2.6 |

It has to be remembered that Spurs have taken a player like Johnson in and made him better, so there is no reason that this couldn’t also happen with the Belgian midfielder.
