Totteham Hotspur having been making their plans for the January transfer window as they look to bolster Ange Postecoglou’s team for the rest of the season.
Spurs have shown a fair few frailties at times this season and there is a clear need for depth in certain areas of the squad.
One of those areas has to be at left-back where Destiny Udogie has been overworked this season with very limited options to replace and rest him.
The North London club have been eyeing another left-back from Serie A as one of the players who could be signed as cover for for the former Udinese star.

Tottenham keep watching Patrick Dorgu
Tottenham and Chelsea are continuing to watch Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu who is impressing in Serie A, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Tottenham tried to sign Dorgu in the summer, however, the Italian club’s asking price put them off making a move for the Dane.
Lecce wanted £30 million for the defender which would have been a lot of money for a player who had only made 17 professional starts in the league.
Udogie is Tottenham’s current first choice left-back and it feels unlikely that Dorgu would have played a great deal of first-team football either.
Spurs do need another left-back to replace Ben Davies at some point, so Dorgu’s situation will be worth keeping an eye on in January.
Dorgu would be great back-up for Destiny Udogie
Udogie is having to play a lot of football this season with Spurs having very little cover for him, especially with Djed Spence out of the club’s Europa League squad.
Meanwhile, Davies has been playing in central defence leaving the 21-year-old as their only left-back option for three competitions.
The Italian has already made 13 apperances this season and the Lilywhites desperatly need to address the need for cover. Dorgu is a very similar profile to Udogie and could be the perfect player for Spurs.
