Tottenham have started this season excellently, especially the attacking players.

Son Heung-min, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski have started this season up from for Spurs, whilst they also have options like summer signings Manor Solomon and Brennan Johnson, who joined from Nottingham Forest.

However, manager Ange Postecoglou is still said to be looking for attacking options, reportedly looking at Al-Lttihad winger Jota.

According to 90min, Tottenham are among several clubs said to be looking at bringing Jota in.

The Portuguese man moved to the Saudi Arabian side in July for £25 million, joining from Celtic.

However, he has not been registered for them to play, and him and the club are hoping to agree a deal for him to be released from his contract so he can return to Europe.

Spurs are said to be interested, with Postecoglou keen to reunite with him after working together last season at Celtic.

Celtic are also interested in beginning Jota back to the club, whilst Premier League sides Brentford, Crystal palace, Everton, Fulham and West Ham United are also keen.

Would Jota be a good signing for Spurs?

Jota would be a great signing for Spurs, especially on a free transfer.

As aforementioned, Spurs have an abundance of attacking players, so it does seem odd that they would like to add another option to their ranks.

Despite that though, Jota is a brilliant attacking player. In two seasons at Celtic Park, Jota scored 28 goals and got 26 assists in 83 games.

This deal will certainly be one to keep an eye on, as if his contract is cancelled in Saudi Arabia, he would then be able to join Tottenham at any point during the season.
