Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a move to sign Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams this summer.
Ange Postecoglou is expected to bring in fresh options in attack during the summer transfer window, despite Timo Werner’s arrival in January.
Spurs missed out on Antonio Nusa during the January window and despite suggestions that Tottenham remain keen on the Club Brugge starlet, Postecoglou has other targets in mind.

Tottenham admire Williams
GiveMeSport claims that Tottenham admire Nico Williams and are keen on signing the winger this summer.
It’s noted that Spurs have been handed confidence that Williams would be open to leaving Bilbao in the next window.
Should the 21-year-old make it clear a departure is possible, Postecoglou’s men are interested in striking a deal for the talented winger. The outlet also reports that Williams’ £43 million release clause has ‘intrigued’ Spurs.

Despite Brennan Johnson and Werner’s recent upturn in form, we are lacking another quality option in the wide areas.
Our wingers have proven to be effective in the final third on the whole this season. But Postecoglou is lacking a player who excels in 1v1 situations.
Williams would certainly fit the bill as a winger who is capable of beating his man. The ‘incredible’ forward has netted six times and provided 12 assists in all competitions this season.
At 21, Williams fits the profile of a typical Tottenham signing. Spurs have made a habit of targeting up-and-coming stars, with their moves for Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr working out particularly well.
Whether or not our intent to bring in a new forward has an effect on Werner’s future remains to be seen.
Spurs have the option to sign the German for just £15 million this summer and we could certainly do a lot worse for that kind of fee.
It would be brilliant to see the club show real intent this summer by bringing in another option, as well as Werner.
Williams would offer something completely different in attack and we’ve been lacking a player who regularly beats his man for several seasons now.
