Tottenham are ready to return for Crysencio Summerville

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make another move to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United this summer, according to Alex Crook.

Spurs signed Mohammed Kudus from the East London club last summer, which was the first trade the club had completed since Scott Parker back in 2011.

But now, Roberto De Zerbi is ready to go back to the London Stadium and this time attempt to take Summerville.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, Crook revealed: “Well, they tried in January, came back with a pretty low-ball bid that West Ham immediately rejected.

“They knew how important Summerville would be to their ultimately futile attempt to stay in the Premier League.

“I think Summerville is one of the players who will definitely move on this summer. Obviously, they’ve already raided West Ham once in recent seasons for Mohammed Kudus, and I do expect Tottenham to go back in for Summerville.

“They won’t be the only club, I think Everton have been registered with interest and Aston Villa, so there could be a bit of a bidding war when it comes to Crysencio Summerville.”

Crysencio Summerville could become Spurs’ fifth Dutch player

Summerville already played alongside several Spurs stars, including Kudus, Micky van de Ven and Xavi Simons.

The West Ham star has featured alongside Van de Ven on eight occasions, for the Netherlands’ U-21 and now the first-team.

Tottenham are also close to signing Van Hecke, who, along with Van de Ven and Summerville, is part of Ronald Koeman’s squad going to the World Cup.

Bart Verbruggen is another Dutch transfer target this summer, meaning that De Zerbi could have five Netherlands national team players next season.
