Thomas Frank could be set to raid former club Brentford in order to strengthen his Tottenham Hotspur side.
Frank left Brentford for Tottenham in the summer and was said to be interested in signing Bryan Mbeumo.
The forward ended up joining Manchester United instead, but Frank could still get his hands on one Brentford player at some point.
His new team recently drew 2-2 with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, with their manager Fabian Hurzeler explaining the difference between Spurs under Frank and Ange Postecoglou after the game.

Thomas Frank wants to bring Yehor Yarmolyuk to Tottenham
Tottenham are thought to be interested in signing a new midfielder in January and could turn to Brentford’s Yehor Yarmolyuk as a result.
The 21-year-old is a player Frank knows well. He has managed him 66 times, according to Transfermarkt.
As per TEAMtalk, the Dane is now eyeing a reunion with Yarmolyuk, and it looks like the higher-ups at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could be on board with that.
TEAMtalk’s report also states that Tottenham view the attributes that Yarmolyuk possesses as “vital”.
So far this season, the Ukrainian has made five appearances in the Premier League. He is yet to score a goal but has registered one assist.

Tottenham face battle with one of their Premier League rivals for Yehor Yarmolyuk’s signature
Tottenham may have to see off competition from United before they can sign Yarmolyuk from Brentford. It is believed that the Red Devils also have the Ukraine international on their radar.
United probably need Yarmolyuk more than Tottenham do. Casemiro is now 33, while Manuel Ugarte has not managed to make an impact at Old Trafford.
In contrast, Spurs already have an array of quality midfielders, possessing the likes of summer signing Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Palhinha is only at Tottenham on loan, but it has been reported that they can sign him permanently for £27m, thanks to a buy option in the deal. With the way the Portuguese is playing, it is probably something that the Europa League winners will consider.
