Raheem Sterling has been linked to Tottenham in recent times, while Savinho is a Tottenham target in the long-term too.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, Charlie Austin has been discussing the idea of Savinho coming to Tottenham, and he says Savinho could have the chance to get his career back on track by joining Spurs.

Savinho could get his career back on track at Tottenham
Austin shared his verdict on Raheem Sterling or Savinho potentially heading to Tottenham.
Austin says Sterling should not rush his decision on his next club, while he was more positive about the idea of Savinho heading to north London.
The former QPR striker stated that Savinho could well get his career back on track if he joins Spurs.
“He doesn’t need to be rushed or pushed into any kind of place. He’s made his decision with Chelsea and they’ve gone their separate ways. Now he can just take his time again and choose where he wants to go,” Austin said.
“Savinho is interesting, he isn’t playing at City, so now does he want to go to Tottenham and go and play and basically get his career back on track.”
Savinho stats this season
As Austin says, Savinho needs to get himself back on track, and a move to Tottenham could be just what the doctor ordered.
The Brazilian hasn’t been playing all that often this season, he’s made 15 appearances but just five starts in the league for Manchester City.
With Antoine Semenyo arriving, minutes may be even harder to come by going forward as well.

A move to Tottenham could help Savinho reignite his career, and it could also help Spurs end this recent malaise under Thomas Frank.
Spurs bid £70m for Savinho in the summer, and another late approach could be on the cards soon.
