Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be busy on the transfer front in the last two weeks of the transfer window.

Spurs have made three new signings so far this summer, bringing Archie Gray and Dominic Solanke to N17, while Yang Min-hyuk is expected to join next year.

Tottenham have also re-signed Timo Werner on loan, while Lucas Bergvall has arrived at the club after a deal was struck with Djurgarden in January.

With the transfer window closing at 11pm BST on Friday 30 August, time is of the essence for Spurs if they are to make more signings.

Now, according to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge, Tottenham have two more new recruits in mind.

Tottenham eyeing ‘an energetic midfielder and a winger’

Bridge, speaking on Sky Sports News, says Spurs are looking to bolster their midfield ranks, while a new winger is on the cards too.

“Tottenham’s new signing Dominic Solanke is ready to start against Leicester next Monday,” he said, as transcribed by GiveMeSport.

“But they are still keen to sign an energetic midfielder and a winger this window.”

Who could Tottenham sign this summer?

As per GiveMeSport, there have been reports of a potential swap deal involving Giovani Lo Celso and Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, with both players said to be keen on switching sides.

In terms of other midfielders, Juventus and Italy ace Manuel Locatelli has also been earmarked as a potential signing for Spurs.

And in terms of wingers, Bayern Munich and France star Kingsley Coman is said to be on Tottenham’s radar this summer.

There have also been links between Spurs and players in other positions, such as AS Monaco full-back Vanderson and Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
