Tottenham Hotspur have done fairly well on the transfer front this summer, having made several great additions for the present and for the future.

Dominic Solanke is a Premier League-proven striker who will bolster Spurs’ attacking ranks, while Archie Gray already looks first-team ready at just 18.

Tottenham have also secured the signing of Yang Min-hyuk, who is expected to join from FC Gangwon next year, and Timo Werner has been re-signed on loan.

In addition, Lucas Bergvall has finally linked up with Spurs and he already looks like he could challenge for James Maddison’s No. 10 spot in the starting XI.

Tottenham could now be set for some more outgoings before deadline day, including loan moves for some of their top academy talents.

Where could the likes of Ashley Phillips, Alfie Devine, Jamie Donley, Will Lankshear and Mikey Moore be playing next season?

TSN looks at which exciting Tottenham youngsters are reportedly set to be loaned out this month, according to the Evening Standard.

Ashley Phillips

The 19-year-old defender, who joined from Blackburn Rovers in 2023, enjoyed a fruitful loan stint at Championship side Plymouth Argyle in the second half of last season.

Phillips’ Plymouth debut, against Huddersfield, saw Sky Sports pundit Alan McInally praise him highly.

“Ashley Phillips… on loan from Spurs, centre-back, boy’s gonna be a superstar,” he said, as transcribed by HotspurReports.

Phillips went on to impress as he helped the Pilgrims survive in the Championship by the skin of their teeth, and was named their Young Player of the Season.

La Liga side Getafe are said to be keen on the England youth international.

Alfie Devine

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was out on loan at League One side Port Vale in the first half of last season.

Spurs recalled him in January and loaned him out to Championship side Plymouth, where he made nine starts and six substitute appearances.

Neil Dewsnip, the club’s director of football, hinted to the Plymouth Herald in May that he was keen on bringing Devine and Phillips back on loan.

However, Getafe are also said to be looking at the N17 playmaker, so there’s a chance Devine and Phillips could be reunited elsewhere once again.

Jamie Donley

The 19-year-old forward would be going on loan for the first time in his career should Tottenham decide to find a club for him this summer.

Donley was outstanding for Spurs’ Under-21s last season. In 23 age-level appearances, he registered eight goals and 17 assists.

This led to Ange Postecoglou giving him his Tottenham senior debut in December 2023, against none other than Manchester City.

Donley made four first-team appearances throughout last season, and he has certainly outgrown the U21s, so a loan move is on the cards.

Will Lankshear?

The Evening Standard has also reported that Lankshear could be loaned out, although there’s a chance he could still stay at Tottenham.

This is because Spurs are currently short of cover up front, with Alejo Veliz having linked up with Espanyol and Dane Scarlett joining Oxford United on loan.

Lankshear has registered a staggering 30 goals and five assists from just 39 appearances for Tottenham at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level.

Indeed, some fans have suggested that he could develop into the new Harry Kane.

What about Mikey Moore?

Moore is not expected to be loaned out this summer. As per the Evening Standard, the winger will be part of Ange Postecoglou’s squad this season.

At just 17 years of age, Moore has effectively outgrown the Under-18s setup already, with 16 goals and nine assists from just 14 U18 outings last term.

Moore has already featured competitively for Tottenham’s senior team, getting minutes in Spurs’ last two games of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Goal.com previously reported that the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were keen on Moore.

However, they have all missed out on him, as he has committed his future to Tottenham by signing his first professional contract at N17 just this month.
