Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of Premier League clubs scouting Javi Guerra.
According to 90min, Tottenham representatives were in attendance at Spain U21’s win over Scotland in September to watch the midfielder.
Javi Guerra joined Valencia’s academy in 2019 and went onto feature for the B-team before making his senior debut in the Copa del Rey two years later.
The youngster burst onto the La Liga scene in the latter stages of last season, making ten appearances for Valencia. He has now forced his way into the starting line-up after a stellar start to the new term, making seven starts and netting three goals.

Guerra’s performances have attracted plenty of attention, with Tottenham joined by the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham in their visit to the Spain U21s match.
Manchester United are also thought to be interested in signing Guerra, while Barcelona have previously been linked with a move for the 20-year-old.
However, Guerra’s current contract doesn’t expire until 2027 and contains a release clause of €100 million (£86m).
Valencia’s sporting director Miguel Angel Corona has also insisted that the club won’t be selling their star boy, telling the Daily Mail: “We are fully aware that we have a player with enormous potential for the future and the ability to perform at a good level now.
“That is why the club have decisively moved him up to the first team in recent months. It is not in our plans to sell him to any club.”
Could Tottenham sign another exciting prospect on Javi Guerra?
Spain’s national team have struggled to replicate previous success in recent years, however they undoubtedly have some very exciting young players coming through the ranks.
With the likes of Gavi and Pedri making their mark in Spanish football at such a young age, Tottenham could be making a very smart move by looking at their youth squad.

Javi Guerra is clearly very highly regarded in La Liga and Barcelona’s interest surely tells you all you need to know about the quality of player he could be in the future.
However, if Tottenham want him then they are going to have to avoid paying his release clause and work on a lower fee.
With the likes of Alejo Veliz and Destiny Udogie looking to make their mark in the Premier League, Spurs’ investment in younger players is certainly very promising.
