RB Leipzig manager Marco Rose has admitted Timo Werner could well end up a Tottenham Hotspur player this summer.
The German forward is currently spending the remainder of the campaign on loan in north London.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have the option to make Timo Werner’s stay at Spurs a permanent one ahead of the summer.

Timo Werner’s Tottenham future
It has now been suggested Spurs have until 14 June to make a decision on whether they want to take Werner on permanently.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is said to be the place where the 28-year-old want’s to spend his future.
Werner’s return to Germany was fairly short lived having departed just 18 months after rejoining RB Leipzig in 2022.
Ahead of their game on the weekend, the Leipzig manager has commented on what may lie ahead for the former Chelsea man. He said: “We are not in contact, but of course I am following his development. He starts scoring again, this is a result of being comfortable and feeling good. He should keep riding the wave.
“Basically, he is one of our players, but Tottenham obviously have the opportunity to sign him completely.”

Timo Werner goals at Tottenham
It may have taken him a number of games to find the back of the net, but Werner now looks to be flying in a Spurs shirt.
The German opened his account for Spurs with an assist in each of his first two Premier League appearances.
However, his wait for a goal lasted a bit longer after he netted the equaliser in the recent victory over Crystal Palace.
And like his assists, one followed another after he came off the bench on Sunday to score in the latter stages against Aston Villa.
It is clear to see Postecoglou is liking what he is seeing from Werner already, the Australian hailed him after the Palace game suggesting there is still more to come.
A place in the starting XI will be a challenge for the German with the form of Brennan Johnson and Heung-min Son of late, but he has shown he is more than capable of filling in when needed.
