Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League rivals are now expecting Jan Paul van Hecke to sign for Roberto De Zerbi’s team.

Van Hecke has already agreed personal terms with Tottenham and is now waiting for an agreement to be found with Brighton.

The North London club have already done plenty of work on their defence this summer, with Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi also set to join.

The Dutch defender seems to be a player De Zerbi is eager to sign, and the Lilywhites are working hard to get the deal done.

Jan Paul van Hecke is totally enthralled by the idea of joining Roberto De Zerbi at Tottenham Hotspur, according to Matt Law.

The 26-year-old is viewed by De Zerbi as a son, with the pair having worked very closely together during their time at the AMEX Stadium.
