Micky van de Ven has told Jan Paul van Hecke that moving to Tottenham Hotspur would be a ‘good next step’ for him.
The Spurs defender has explained how he has spoken with Van Hecke about a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and he seems to have convinced him.
Speaking to the Dutch media, Van de Ven told NU: “I did talk to Jan Paul briefly about Tottenham. I think it is a good step for him.”
The Brighton defender has decided he only wants to join Tottenham, and an agreement with the North London club is already in place.

The 25-year-old will now be hoping to complete the transfer before the World Cup to avoid any distractions and know his top transfer is already finalised.

Spurs have missed having a consistent defensive partnership since the days of Alderweireld and Vertonghen, but hopefully Van Hecke can help change that.
