Napoli are reportedly interested in hiring Antonio Conte and signing a Tottenham Hotspur player as a ‘gift’ for the former Spurs boss.
The summer transfer window is expected to be a busy one for Tottenham as Ange Postecoglou continues to build a squad in his image.
Spurs continue to be linked with reinforcements in midfield, with Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher of interest.
But there could also be a few notable exits this summer as we’ve already seen Postecoglou move on the likes of Harry Kane and Eric Dier.
While Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is one name to be heavily linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs could be forced to fend off interest in Dejan Kulusevski from Napoli.

Napoli want to hire Conte then sign Tottenham star Kulusevski
According to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli are eyeing a move for Kulusevski as a ‘gift’ for Antonio Conte.
It’s noted that it would be a ‘difficult’ move to pull off due to Conte’s high salary demands. But the Naples side could be in the market for a new attacker should Victor Osimhen leave the club this summer.
The outlet claims that Tottenham value Kulusevski at around £51 million. But it’s unclear whether or not Postecoglou would be open to selling the 23-year-old.
The move is therefore described as ‘more of a dream than reality’, partly because Kulusevski has four years left on his contract at Spurs and earns roughly €5 million per year.

Tottenham unlikely to offload Kulusevski
It feels highly unlikely that Spurs would consider offloading Kulusevski this summer.
The Swede only signed for the club on a permanent basis last summer and despite a recent dip in form, he’s been key to Postecoglou’s side this term.
Kulusevski has netted six times and provided three assists in 28 Premier League appearances under Postecoglou.
There is plenty more to come from the former Juventus man and it would be a surprise to see him link up with Conte once again this summer.
Conte did bring Kulusevski to Hotspur Way, alongside Rodrigo Bentancur, but the Spurs winger has repeatedly expressed his delight at working under Postecoglou.
