Tottenham may have finally found their replacement for Harry Kane, one year after the striker moved on from the club.
Kane, 31, moved to Bayern Munich in the hope of adding some accolades to his name after years of impressive performances for Spurs.
In his many years at the club, Kane became Tottenham’s all-time record goalscorer with 280 goals for the Lilywhites.
That amount of goals was always going to be tough to replace for Ange Postecoglou, who used a mixture of Heung-Min Son and Richarlison at centre-forward.
However this summer, Tottenham have signed Dominic Solanke from AFC Bournemouth in a deal worth up to £65million.
Having scored 19 Premier League goals last season, the 26-year-old brings plenty of quality to the frontline, something that Kane himself has had a say on.

Harry Kane verdict on Dominic Solanke to Tottenham transfer
So with Solanke being unveiled to the fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Kane has given his thoughts on the move.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the former Spurs star said: “It should be great. Dom [Dominic Solanke] is a great player.
“He plays with high intensity, high speed. For sure he’ll get chances in this team with the way Ange [Ange Postecoglou] plays.
“I think it’s a really good signing. I saw him in the dressing room and I wished him all the best and of course, I hope he has a great season.”

Can Dominic Solanke finally replace Harry Kane?
With Solanke being the first major striker signing since the exit of Kane, it has left many wondering whether the England international can be a success at Tottenham
After a season of 19 goals in the Premier League, there’s evidence that the forward can find the back of the net regularly.
Solanke is more than capable of playing in a high-intensity team, with Andoni Iraola keen on pressing at Bournemouth.
It means that the transition from playing for the Cherries to Spurs should be less drastic than other options.
While he may not be an exact replica of Kane, Solanke is certainly an exciting option to fit Postecoglou’s plans.
