Guglielmo Vicario appears to be in his final season at Tottenham regardless of their Premier League status.
The Italy international joined Spurs in 2023 and has been the number one for them since then.
Despite a few struggles, the 29-year-old has been relatively composed between the sticks and has marshalled his backline well.
🧤 Which goalkeeper should Totttenham sign to replace Guglielmo Vicario?
Roberto De Zerbi also does not seem to be a big fan of Guglielmo Vicario
According to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi, the behaviour of the Tottenham fans seems to have put off Vicario.
He claims that it is part of the reason why the goalkeeper is likely to leave North London this summer.
Also, new manager Roberto De Zerbi does not seem to rate Vicario too highly and wants a different goalkeeper as the number one for next season.
Barzaghi reports that the Italian manager is a fan of James Trafford, who is facing an uncertain future at Manchester City.

The English stopper appears set to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer, with a number of clubs linked with him.
De Zerbi did try to convince Vicario to stay, but he wants to return to Italy, so a move for the Manchester City goalkeeper could be prioritised.
Barzaghi said on his YouTube channel: “Vicario is coming because De Zerbi also seems convinced of going for (James) Trafford.
“He initially tried to convince Vicario to stay, but Vicario wants to return to Italy, also because he didn’t like certain behaviours from the fans.”
🤔 SAFETY or RELEGATION: Will Roberto De Zerbi keep Tottenham in the Premier League?
How De Zerbi can get the best out of James Trafford at Tottenham
De Zerbi undoubtedly will be looking to change things around at Tottenham and for him, it is important that the goalkeeper buys into his style of play.
Trafford is better than Vicario at his feet, and Spurs are expected to become better at building out from the back ahead of next season.
The Italian likes to bait the press, and for that, he needs a goalkeeper comfortable with the ball at his feet for extended periods.
As Trafford has honed his skills at Manchester City, he does seem tailor-made for this style of play.
De Zerbi also likes his goalkeepers to act as playmakers, so he is likely to set up drills for Trafford to improve his verticality and line-breaking passes.
He would also look to improve his sweeping ability as that can allow the Spurs boss to deploy a high defensive line.
