Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly one of four Premier League clubs battling it out for the signature of Lille forward Jonathan David.

Tottenham Hotspur have acted quickly this summer to bolster their attacking options, with Timo Werner already through the door, returning to the club on another loan deal.

The Lilywhites however are seemingly not stopping there with Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou telling Football London, his side needs new recruits in the final third.

This has sparked rumours surrounding a number of forwards with the likes of Ivan Toney and Santiago Gimenez said to be on Tottenham’s radar. The latest and most prominent of those rumours though is that Spurs are reportedly in a Premier League battle to secure the services of Lille striker, Jonathan David.

According to The Guardian, Spurs are one of four Premier League clubs vying for the Canadians signature with Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham also interested.

Heading into the final year of his deal, David would likely be available for a cut price fee with reports stating the French outfit may accept offers as low as £20 million.

A goal-record of 84 goals in the 183 games suggests the 24-year-old could be a smart pickup for Spurs as they look to bolster their squad ahead of a busy European schedule.

Despite scoring 11 goals in 28 league games, it was another frustrating season for Richarlison in North London. Injuries and struggles with mental health meant the Brazilian was only limited to 19 starts in the league last season.

Richarlison’s limited availability has reportedly tempted Tottenham in potentially selling the striker, with Football London stating that Spurs will listen to any serious offers this summer.

Tottenham’s interest in bringing in a new forward matched with interest from Saudi Arabia, makes it seem ever more likely that Richarlison’s time at Spurs may be coming to an end.
