Tottenham Hotspur are now set to see Bournemouth show an interest in one of their summer signings.
The Premier League season may not be over yet, but it is apparent things are beginning to ramp up behind the scenes ahead of the summer transfer window.
Ange Postecoglou’s men are still lurking around the top four spots and now have a game in hand on Aston Villa going into the weekend.
The Australian’s appointment in north London has been impressive so far with the product on the pitch much improved and the signings made over the two windows being largely successful.
However, there is seemingly interest growing in one of the players who came through the doors of Hotspur Way in the summer.
Bournemouth showing interest in Tottenham summer signing
Daniel Levy has certainly provided Postecoglou with plenty of backing in the two transfer windows he has had in north London.
A number of players have come in with the likes of Micky van de Ven, James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario being some of the standout names.
Players like these have already played a huge role in the Spurs starting XI as they battle away for a spot in the top four.
Perhaps the only signing under Postecoglou’s watch which is yet showing any signs of really working out is Alejo Veliz.
The young striker has spent the second half of the campaign out on loan at Sevilla, but that is proving to be a testing time for the striker.
However, it seems he could now be set for a potential exit in the summer with Bournemouth reportedly now one of the clubs who are already showing an interest.
Having had such a struggle of a 2023/24 campaign, finding the Argentine the right loan for next season feels crucial for his development.

What the Spanish media have said about Alejo Veliz at Sevilla
After making the £12m move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer, it has not quite worked out to be the move the “incredible” striker will have hoped for.
Under Postecoglou, Veliz was only able to rack up 42 minutes of Premier League football, but he was able to find the back of the net against Brighton & Hove Albion.
However, since making the move to Spain, it has proven to be just as – if not more – difficult for the 20-year-old.
Veliz joined a list of former Spurs players who have spent time at Sevilla and one of them, Erik Lamela, was on site to welcome Veliz to the club.
Speaking about his arrival to the Spanish side, Veliz said: “Luckily I had a very quick adaptation with the boys, especially with the Argentines. I am feeling very comfortable and very happy with this step.
“With Lamela we have already established a very nice bond, he invited me to his house and we had a great chat. I’m very happy with everything.”
But his time with the La Liga side has failed to develop since making the move in January with just 23 minutes of football under his belt.
Veliz has only made three appearances for Sevilla in the league and it looks as if the move has not gone down well with the local media.
Last month, the local press said: ‘The other big victim of [Dodi] Lukebakio’s return has been Alejo Veliz , who was left out of the squad in the last game. Since his arrival, the Argentine has added 23 minutes in three moments.
‘On loan from Tottenham, the bet has turned out to be an absolute failure for Victor Orta at the moment and of dubious value for the future, since no purchase option is stipulated in the operation.’
Spurs are said to be on the lookout for a new striker in the summer window, with this in mind, it has to be questioned where Veliz’s future does lie.
The 20-year-old still has five years left on his Spurs deal so there is no rush to sell him, but the Lilywhites will be looking for something to get excited about in his next loan move.
