Tottenham return to Premier League action this weekend with a trip to the South Coast to face Brighton. Our early prediction is that Mohammed Kudus will come alive at the Amex Stadium.
Tottenham, who have won three out of their opening four matches in the Premier League this season, will look to consolidate a strong start when they travel to Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs kept up their momentum in midweek by winning 1-0 against Villarreal in the Champions League. Now, Thomas Frank’s side refocus on the league, where they currently sit third in the division table.

Mohammed Kudus, who joined Spurs from West Ham for £55m (BBC) in the summer, has been an ever-present in Frank’s starting XI so far this season. But he right-winger definitely still has some gears to go through.
Kudus believed he would get opportunities at Spurs, which has been spot on to date. He now needs to repay the manager’s faith with a statement performance and contribution.

Mohammed Kudus scored two in two against Brighton last season
We’re sure that Kudus will remember he scored in both of West Ham’s league matches against Brighton in the 2024/25 campaign. Therefore, the skilful forward may be ready to burst into life on Saturday with Spurs at the Amex Stadium.
Back in December 2024, Kudus scored a crucial goal in West Ham’s 1-1 league draw at home to Brighton. He followed it up in April with another goal during the reverse fixture as the Hammers lost 3-2 away to the Seagulls.
The Ghana international is still waiting for his first goal in Spurs colours despite looking threatening in the opening weeks of the season.
Kudus has zero goals and two assists in six appearances across all competitions this term. Ultimately, he’s been signed to inject some more attacking firepower to the Spurs forward line, so he will be judged on his attacking contributions.
Spurs fans will remember they lost both Premier League matches against Brighton last season, but they will now face them with a new-look attack, including Kudus.

Mohammed Kudus suits Tottenham on the right
The way that Kudus has slotted into the Spurs XI on the right wing has been very encouraging. Now he just needs the goals to underline some eye-catching performances.
Spurs boss Frank praised the link up between Kudus and Pedro Porro during a recent interview, claiming that they already have a great understanding down the right flank.
Kudus, the left-footer, is a modern day winger who loves to drift infield to get involved. As a result, attack-minded right-back Porro is perfect in his role to burst forward and make overlapping runs.
