Yang Min-hyeok has been speaking about his move to Tottenham Hotspur in January and the advice Heung-min Son has been giving him.
Yang will officially become a Tottenham player on January 1 and is expected to travel to London next month to start gearing up for life in North London.
Spurs paid £3 million last summer to capture the teenager’s signature and he has spent the first-half of the season back on loan in the K-League.
Yang helped Gangwon FC to achieve their highest-ever league position as they secured the runners-up spot in the K-League.

Yang Min-hyeok on Heung-min Son preparing him for Tottenham move
Yang Min-hyeok has revealed that he wants to emulate what Heung-min Son has achieved at Tottenham and is particularly keen to become as dangerous in front of goal as his fellow countryman.
Yang said: “I want to be like Son Heung-min at Tottenham. I especially want to emulate his shooting and finishing skills. Son Heung-min emphasized the importance of learning English the most.
“I’m studying English as well. I’ve been taking regular English lessons, but since I still use Korean more than English, I have my limitations. However, I plan to build a foundation and learn by facing challenges. He also told me that playing in the EPL is by no means easy.”
The 18-year-old added that he is keen to get to London as soon as possible as he wants to make an immediate impact on Ange Postecoglou’s team. “Adjusting to a culture that’s different from Korea after moving to London, England is crucial. I want to adapt to Tottenham quickly and play in matches as soon as possible,” said Yang.
