Tottenham Hotspur completed their fourth summer signing having agreed a deal with Burnley for Wilson Odobert.
Spurs kept the deal to sign Odobert under wraps making a shock announcement on August 16 much to the surprise of the club’s supporters and many journalists.
The 19-year-old joins Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray and Yang Min-Hyeok in arriving at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Ange Postecoglou had been looking to sign a winger and given Odobert’s skillset, he looks to be a perfect fit for the Australian’s squad.
The Frenchman is a pacy winger who can play on either side and can beat his defender by going either down the flank or cutting inside.
After completing his move to the North London club, the former Burnley man has been speaking about the Tottenham idol he is looking forward to linking up with this season.

Wilson Odobert names Heung-min Son as an ‘inspiration’
Odobert has revealed that Heung-min Son is a player he’s modelled his game off.
The 19-year-old is predominantly a left winger who can use both feet just like Tottenham Hotspur’s captain.
Having come through PSG’s academy, he has also drawn inspiration from legendary wingers Ronaldinho and Neymar Jr, both of whom also played in the French capital.
Odobert told Spurs Official: “I used to watch players like Neymar, Robinho and Ronaldinho. All three were great dribblers and top players too.
“I tried to gain inspiration from them. Son as well, he was inspirational for me.”
Postecoglou is likely to use Odobert on both flanks with the right wing in particular need of a player like the teenager.
Where Tottenham must target next after Wilson Odobert signing
Tottenham Hotspur still need to target two more positions before the close of the transfer window.
The club managed to finally replace Harry Kane with a proper striker by signing Solanke and got the pacy winger they needed in Odobert.
Now, left-back and central midfield must be targeted, especially after Yves Bissouma was suspended by the club.
Firstly, Spurs need to find an understudy to Destiny Udogie to avoid the full-back once again being overworked and suffering another long-term injury.
Meanwhile, Bissouma has been too inconsistent and given his latest off-field controversy, an upgrade is needed at the base of Tottenham’s midfield.
