Tottenham Hotspur and Luka Vuskovic are expected to decide his future after the World Cup as the defender prepares to travel to North America with Croatia.
The 19-year-old had a thoroughly impressive season on loan in the Bundesliga and is now considered to be one of the best young talents in Europe.

Vuskovic impressed so much that the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona are on his trail ahead of the summer window.
Spurs are desperate to get him tied down to a new deal at some stage and plans are already in place to open talks over a new contract.

Tottenham Hotspur are planning to re-open Luka Vuskovic contract talks after the World Cup, having already held loose conversations, according to Jay Harris.
Vuskovic is already contracted to Spurs until 2029, but the North London club are keen to get him tied down to a longer contract on improved terms.
But for now, any plans to start contract talks are being placed on the back burner until after this summer’s tournament.
Speaking on The View From The Lane, Harris said: “It sounds like with Vuskovic having had such an impressive season in Germany, he’s not really in any rush to make a decision on what his next steps are going to be.
“It sounds like there’s been loose conversations about him signing a new contract with Spurs, but nothing’s going to be decided until the World Cup. And that’s sort of the complicating factor with the World Cup, right?
“Like it can sometimes cause a really intense period of activity just before the tournament starts.

“Then everything sort of has to wait until teams get knocked out and plans get delayed and maybe players don’t arrive for the start of preseason, et cetera. But that’s sort of my opinion, and from what I’m hearing from people is likely to happen.”
People close to Vuskovic suggest is not ready for Tottenham just yet, and perhaps another loan move could be on the cards.
But with Cristian Romero set to leave Spurs this summer, Roberto De Zerbi could be against losing the teenager on loan.
