Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the new which the club have just announced on Friday morning.
The Lilywhites return to Premier League action this Sunday after what has been an extremely busy week for Tottenham.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side have already played twice since the end of the international break where they picked up three points against Luton Town before drawing against West Ham.
On Tuesday night, Heung-min Son was able to tally up his 400th appearance for Spurs which earned him congratulations from both Micky van de Ven and Harry Kane.
However, the South Korean captain was left furious with Dejan Kulusevski after the full-time whistle with the incident being captured by a fan.
But Spurs have no time to dwell on dropping two points against the Irons after Brennan Johnson provided them with an early lead.
A quick turnaround is going to be something Spurs are going to have to get used to as they look set to be playing European football next season.
Postecoglou’s side still have eight games to play this season with two of their fixtures having been postponed over recent months.
Although Tottenham are wanting to make a number of signings over the summer, the coming weeks will be a good test ahead of a season in Europe.

Spurs fans left furious after what they have now heard
After a dismal season under Antonio Conte last time out, the 2023/24 campaign has offered a lot more to be excited about under Postecoglou.
But it has by no means been a completely smooth-sailing season with injuries riddling the Spurs squad.
And it has not just been issues on the pitch will have frustrated Tottenham fans with Daniel Levy and the Spurs board doing their bit to rile fans.
The club recently announced a six per cent increase to next term’s season ticket prices which went down like a lead balloon with fans on social media.
This week, the club’s most recent financial report was released with Levy’s staggering salary and almost unbelievable bonus revealed.
Ahead of their game against Forest, which was rescheduled just 10 days prior to the game in north London, there has been another announcement.
It is one which is out of the control of the club, but Spurs announced two of their fixtures which have now been rescheduled for next month.
And it is fair to say the fans are not impressed. One said: ‘Less than three days between the two, that’s mental’. Whilst another added: ‘Are you actually serious’.
Here are the two rearranged fixtures in question.
- Chelsea (A) – Thursday 2 May 7:30pm
- Liverpool (A) – Sunday 5 May – 4:30pm
Another fan fumed: ‘What a joke’. Whilst another replied to the club’s post: ‘Whoever in the premier league has done this deserves to face some consequences’.
One fan said: ‘Thursday Sunday ?!? Jokes’. And another chipped in: ‘Why not Wednesday then Sunday?’
Spurs will have to get used to this next season
Spurs have gone the full season playing almost one game every week after failing to qualify for European football alst season.
And their early exits from the Carabao Cup and FA Cup also provided Postecoglou’s men with a freed up schedule.
The Australian has already told the media that he wants his side to be playing more games, this will provide his side with a real test to earn a spot in the top four.
“For a club like us who want to compete at the highest level, you need a strong squad and to have a strong squad you need consistent games and opportunities.”
