Wayne Rooney and Theo Walcott have shared which stage they see Tottenham getting knocked out in the Champions League.

While Spurs have struggled in the Premier League, they have performed exceptionally on the European stage.

Thomas Frank guided the Lilywhites to an impressive fourth place in the League Phase of the Champions League, which secured a direct pathway into the Round of 16.

Rooney and Walcott think the same thing about Tottenham

Rooney and Walcott both think that Tottenham will be getting knocked out in the Round of 16 of the Champions League, with them revealing their answer to Amazon Prime.

While they did well in the first stage of the competition, it is now do-or-die time for all teams, and there has been plenty of upheaval at the club.

Frank is no longer in charge, with Igor Tudor being hired as the interim manager until the end of the season.

The Croatian’s tenure as Spurs boss has not got off to the best possible start as Tottenham lost 4-1 to Arsenal at home.

The performance was uninspiring, showing what a big job he has on his hands.

What is Igor Tudor trying to do at Spurs?

The remit for Tudor when he would have taken the job would have been clear: win football matches.

However, as Frank would have found out, that is easier said than done.

It is clear, at least from his conduct on the sidelines and his interviews with the media, that he wants a change of mentality at the club.

This would also include strict discipline and ensuring that the players do not step out of line, and not put their individual needs above the team’s.

He believes that physicality cancels out quality, and wants Tottenham to impose themselves in games and work relentlessly off the ball regardless of the team they are playing against.

Tudor has parted ways with John Heitinga, Justin Cochrane and Chris Haslam, and replaced them with Bruno Saltor as his assistant, Tomislav Rogic (goalkeeping coach) and Riccardo Raganacci (physical coach).

Rogic and Raganacci have worked with him and know his demands, while Saltor was lauded for his time at Chelsea.

The fact that the board have agreed to these changes suggests that they believe in his ability to get the job done.
