Tottenham Hotspur could face AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League without one of their best players who was missing from training on Wednesday afternoon.
Spurs have made a strong start to their European campaign having won their first two group-stage matches against Qarabag and Ferencvarosi.
Next up they host Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar who have one win and one defeat in their first two Europa League games, having lost to Athletic Bilbao in their last outing.
Tottenham will face a familiar face in Troy Parrott who they sold to the Dutch club over the summer in a deal worth around £6.7 million.
But ahead of the clash, two key players have been spotted missing from training although one of their summer signings has made his return.

Heung-min Son misses training but Wilson Odobert is back
Heung-min Son and Djed Spence were not involved in Tottenham training on 23 October ahead of the Europa League game against AZ Alkmaar.
Son returned from a hamstring injury over the weekend to score in Spurs’ 4-1 win over West Ham so there will be concerns he has suffered a setback.
Spence is not in the North London club’s Europa League squad anyway so wouldn’t have featured either way but he missed the London derby over the weekend due to a minor groin injury.
However, in better news, Wilson Odobert has returned to training after finally recovering from a hamstring injury suffered back on September 18.
The winger’s return will be a huge boost for Tottenham, especially if Son now is unavailable to feature with another injury.
How could Tottenham line-up vs AZ Alkmaar?
Odobert could be put straight back into the line-up if Son is unavailable to play although Ange Postecoglou also has Timo Werner and Mikey Moore as options.
Richarlison is also set to make his return and first start of the season having finally recovered from an injury which has seen him make just two appearances this season.
Dragusin, Ben Davies, Archie Gray, Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Bergvall are among the other players set to return to the starting line-up for the European clash.
Tottenham’s predicted line-up vs AZ Alkmaar: Vicario; Udogie, Davies, Dragusin, Gray; Bentancur, Sarr, Bergvall; Johnson, Werner, Richarlison.
