Spurs are set to host Bayern Munich this weekend, the second of their two friendlies against the German outfit this month.

As the Premier League countdown ticks away, Ange Postecoglou will be now making the tough decision of picking his first XI ahead of Tottenham’s league curtain raiser against Leicester City.

Before that however, the Aussie will have one last chance to watch his players before the season kicks off, as Spurs round off their pre-season preparations against Bayern Munich this Saturday.

This is the second clash between the two sides in the space of a week, with the German giants coming out on top in South Korea last weekend, with a 2-1 victory.

The friendly is scheduled for a 5:30pm (BST) kick off.

Team news

After missing the first game between the two sides, many fans are wondering whether Harry Kane will feature against his former Spurs side.

Bayern Munich Director of Sport, Max Eberl, however, has confirmed Kane will travel to North London for Saturday’s game, insisting “he is healthy” following doubts over his fitness at Euro 2024.

Spurs fans meanwhile may also see the return of some of their own stars, with Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven both having returned to training this week.

The Bayern clash may also be the last time fans get to see Emerson Royal in a Tottenham shirt, as the Brazilian closes in on a move to AC Milan.
