Igor Tudor expected to drive Tottenham up the Premier League table
Tudor has joined the Lilywhites, with the team struggling in the English top flight.
Tottenham are currently 16th in the Premier League table, and face a realistic threat of relegation.
Performances and results have been underwhelming all season, making Frank’s job untenable.
Sum up Thomas Frank’s time at Tottenham in three words
In the official announcement, Spurs wrote that the Croatian is joining with the primary focus of improving performances and getting wins to drive the team up in the standings.
He is expected to organise the side and ensure that the dressing room is in a happy place, as that will bring results with it.
The statement reads: “Igor joins us with a clear focus: to improve performances, deliver results and move us up the Premier League table.
“His mandate is straightforward – bring organisation, intensity and competitive edge to the squad at a decisive stage of the campaign.”

How will Tudor set up for the game against Arsenal?
As far as opening matches go, it does not get any bigger for Tudor than the game against the club’s arch rivals Arsenal on 22 February.
Tudor is likely to set up Spurs in a 3-4-2-1 shape and go man for man with his pressing on the Arsenal players.
He would urge the Lilywhites to play high up the pitch and be aggressive without the ball, showing the Gunners that they are no pushovers.
Archie Gray could join Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin to make a back three, with Joao Palhinha playing in midfield alongside Conor Gallagher.
This could be a game for Souza to start at left wing-back, with Djed Spence playing as the wing-back on the right.
Xavi Simons and Mathys Tel could play as the two inside forwards/number 10s, and Dominic Solanke would then lead the line.
